Utilities

• Electrical power is generated to provide backup and supplement purchased electricity from our off campus supplier.
• Chilled Water is furnished to major campus buildings for reliable space cooling.
• Steam is furnished for heating of major campus buildings and generation of electrical power.
• Water from Lake Carl Blackwell is treated and distributed to campus facilities and to neighboring areas of the City of Stillwater.
• Key building personnel are notified of any planned or emergency outage. Efforts are made to cooperate with specific building needs. The user is responsible for notifying Physical Plant Services of any special requirements for uninterruptible utility supplies or emergency generators.
