The 2007 Physical Plant Employee of the Year is Jennifer Scott. The Physical Plant honors Jennifer Scott, Computer Specialist, who has worked for the Physical Plant CIS for over 7 years. Jennifer was nominated and chosen by her peers for her loyal service to the Physical Plant and Oklahoma State University.

Jennifer came to work for the Physical Plant CIS Department in July of 2000. Having owned her own computer business for several years, Jennifer was very customer oriented and she brought that same work ethic with her. She is always more than happy to help with a computer or network problem. Jennifer says she did not do it for any award or recognition she just enjoys her work and what she does.

Jennifer attended OSU and is an active member of the OSU Alumni Band. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with a Minor in Management. She has been active with the Sillwater Elks Lodge and around the state and also active in various other community activities for several years.

Following a review by the Physical Plant Staff Advisory Committee and personal interviews of finalists, Jennifer was selected to receive the 2007 award, along with a check for $500. Jennifer was honored at a small ceremony during the Physical Plant Staff Advisory Council Meeting and presented with the etched crystal plaque and her giant award check by Rick Krysiak, Physical Plant Director.
