Please note that Physical Plant will only accept materials from campus departments,
and cannot accept materials from individuals on campus or in the community in general.

Accepted Paper Materials
- Letterhead
- Bond Paper
- Copier paper
- White notebook paper
- Computer Printer paper, except greenbar or graybar
- Shredded white paper
- Sprocket edges from form-feed paper
- Carbonless paper
- Envelopes without plastic windows
* It is not necessary to remove staples
Unacceptable Paper Materials
- Colored Paper (including brown and tan)
- Glossy paper (as in magazines)
- Newsprint
- Carbon paper
- Envelopes with plastic windows (unless plastic is removed)
- Green- and graybar computer paper
- Cardboard
- Phone books
Other Accepted Materials
- Metals (steel, copper, brass)
- Lab glass
- Wooden pallets
- Used electronics
- Automotive batteries
- Used motor oil
- Lab chemicals
- CFC's
Other Unacceptable Materials
- Plastics
- Food residuals (polystyrene cups or boxes, etc.)
- Glass (other than lab glass)
