	Constructing a new Water Tower Start: May 2009 | End: May 2010 Description: As part of the revitalization of the OSU Water Treatment Plant, one of the key components is the new 500,000 gallon water storage tower. Last winter, new water lines were installed to service the tower, and the foundation was poured. This week, Maguire Iron, Inc., of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has started to put together the large steel panels that make up the tower. The dozens of large steel panels delivered from the factory will be welded together into four major parts. Once they are ready, a 500 ton crane will hoist the stem, bowl bottom, and bowl top into place.

The apartment complex at the southwest corner of Hall of Fame and McFarland contains 80 units (320 beds). It is being designed and built through Capstone Development Corporation. This is the third stage of a four stage project. The first and second floors have been carpeted, and the fourth will likely be carpeted next year.

	Physical Plant Services Supply Department Carpet Carousel Start: January 1999 | End: January 1999 | Cost: $16,800.00 Description: The carpet carousel holds 8 rolls at 1,500lbs. ea., up to 175' long, and it automatically measures length. With carpet stocked in-store, wait time is reduced since individual carpet jobs don't wait for small amounts of carpet to be ordered. Four carpet colors and 2,400 yards of carpet will be available in stock.
