How can I get onto a Physical Plant computer?
Only authorized employees may use a regular PP computer station. Physical Plant employees who need regular
computer access must request it from their manager / foreman. However, all Physical Plant employees may use
any KIOSK Station, as they are publicly accessible.
What is a KIOSK?
A kiosk is a small enclosed structure where people can get information. Physical Plant Kiosks are special-purpose
computers designed to help employees get information related to their employment.
What is a KIOSK Helper?
PP CIS has trained volunteers from each Physical Plant department to help employees use the KIOSK system.
These volunteers can help set up your campus identity account (O-Key), Web for Employees (payroll info),
and parking tags.

Can I get to the KIOSK website from home?

Why won't this KIOSK Station go to www.yyyzzz.com?
The KIOSK Stations are configured to only go to OSU websites within the okstate.edu domain.
Why won't this KIOSK Station go to www.okstate.com?
The www.okstate.com site is outside the okstate.edu domain, and is therefore forbidden.

I've never logged on to Web for Employees before. What is my PIN?
Your beginning PIN is your 6-digit birthday (i.e. Jan- 23, 1945 is 012345).
What is my office contact information?
Most Physical Plant employees use their manager's or foreman's office information. See Page 11 of this guide.
What phone number do I use for my Emergency Contact?
You can use any number where you can be conveniently reached.
Why is there so much junk in my E-Mail?
Over 97% of E-Mail worldwide is unwanted junk mail called "spam." To combat this, Campus IT deployed a system to help
catch spam. Your E-Mail account may not be configured to catch the most spam. See Page 41 of this guide.
What does OSU send in my E-Mail?
Among other things, OSU sends Pay Advice notices, News, Headlines, O-Key account notices, and Emergency Notices
to employees through E-Mail.
Who maintains the KIOSKs?
The KIOSK computers, software, and website are maintained by Physical Plant Computing and Information Services.
We are located in the Physical Plant Services building in room 110 and are available from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
