ABOUT GROUNDS AND REFUSE

Physical Plant Grounds Department is responsible for the overall maintenance of 600 landscaped acres, providing an attractive, enjoyable, and safe environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

SERVICES
- Landscape Maintenance
Mowing, trimming, and replacing trees, shrubs, and flowers. Fertilizer, water, and pest control treatment are applied in accordance with our landscape management plan.
- Landscape Construction
Planting, removing, and replacing trees, shrubs and flowers, and sitework including sodding, seeding and renovation of turf.
- Grounds Maintenance
Control of litter and coordination of trash dumpster pickup.
- Snow/Ice Removal
Snow and Ice accumulation is removed based on the following priorities:
- Building entrances, steps, and access ramps
- Sidewalks and curb cuts
- Delivery and unloading zones
- Parking lots.
