The Physical Plant Furniture Shop feeds on a steady diet of worn, broken, ripped, and out-of-date furniture items
and transforms them into great looking functional pieces. Pieces come from all over campus, including the Atherton
Hotel and the Edmon Low Library. Most of the work is repair and restoration, including staining and upholstering
chairs, couches, and even pool tables.Check out photos of some recent Furniture Shop work.
The Furniture Shop recently reupholstered some chairs for the Board of Regents office in Student Union. Check out their photos here.
