Hazardous Materials
The Hazardous Materials section of the Environmental Health & Safety Department is responsible for the coordination of safe handling, use, storage and disposal of laboratory wastes and other hazardous substances. Services provided by HAZMAT include fume hood testing, odor investigations, and respirator fit-testing as well as the determination of hazardous waste.
