Laboratory Safety & Hazardous Waste Training
Find out what is required of you as a campus user of hazardous materials. This training covers all current regulatory issues regarding proper chemical handling procedures, including requests for chemical pickup, labeling and signage, how to clean out a lab, and how to handle a hazmat emergency. These quarterly sessions will be updated as needed. Contact the EHS office at 744-7241 to make sure space is available at the session you plan to attend. This training is provided at no cost.

Training Requirements
There are a variety of different
training requirements that must be followed. All OSU employees must receive quarterly
safety training and hazard communications training. Depending on your job, other training
requirements may apply as well.
