Compliance With Rules & Regulations
Oklahoma State University has
established a system of faculty boards and committees to safeguard
the rights and welfare of human subjects, the ethical treatment of animal subjects, and
compliance with federal regulations governing both. The office of University Research Compliance is dedicated to assisting OSU faculty, students and staff in obtaining the necessary approvals to ensure compliance with all federal, state and University regulations governing the conduct of research. The University Research Compliance function is
under the auspices of the Vice-President
for Research and Technology Transfer. Oversight is provided by the Director of
University Research Compliance, 405.744.1676.
In an effort to
support research at OSU, the Environmental Health and Safety Dept. offers this web site to
help students, faculty and research personnel meet compliance regulations and follow
safety rules.
