The contents of this plan must be known and understood by those people responsible for its implementation. The Director of Emergency Management is responsible for briefing University officials and members concerning their role in emergency management and the contents of this plan in particular.

Department Heads, Work Unit/Agency supervisors - directors are responsible for development and maintenance of their respective segments of this plan and their appropriate supporting SOP's as stated here and set forth in Section VIII of each Annex.

The Executive Policy Group will ensure that an annual review be conducted by all officials involved in the execution of this plan. The Director of Emergency Management will coordinate this review and any plan revision and distribution found necessary.

This Plan will be tested at least once a year in the form of a simulated emergency exercise (drill, tabletop, functional, or major multi-agency/jurisdictional) in order to provide practical, controlled experience to those emergency managers tasked within the plan. The Director of Emergency Management may, at his/her discretion, conduct more than one emergency management training activity per year as money, manpower, or need arises.
